Vleesena, the Muse of Flesh, emerged from deep within the True Spirit along with her sisters, the Muse of Bone and the Muse of Spirit, to bring hope and guidance to the fledgling Death long before he built the Underworld and its capital city, Illverness. As a constant source of inspiration, the playful Muse of Flesh is unencumbered by her duty as she helps create the world she most desires, filled with extravagance and adventure. As she searches for her next metamorphosis, the Muse of Flesh resists nothing and embraces everything, indulging in every whim imaginable.
Standing at an impressive 16” tall, the Muse of Flesh has been lovingly crafted with intricate detail right throughout her otherworldly scarlet and white costume, complete with a removable cape and ornate knee-high lace-up boots that feature the Flesh Faction symbol on her peep-toe heeled shoes. Vleesena is perfectly finished with a eye-catching crimson red wig and mesmerising makeup to complete her a fiery and seductive look that is reminiscent of an era long past.
"Her garments are quite beautiful and complex," said Esther Skandunas, Costume Fabrication Artist. "The idea was to bring beauty to chaos. All of her garments, fabric choices and details represent the human anatomy from the outer flesh to muscle and blood. [But] we wanted to keep the details that represent blood and gore very beautiful so that you don’t quite notice those elements right away."
"I created the blood by using crimson beads located at her neck, wrists, and abdomen so that at first glance she looks like she is wearing beautiful jewelry and accessories, but upon closer examination you begin to realise that those beads are meant to represent blood dripping from her flesh," Esther explained.
With ball-jointed articulation in her ankles, knees, hips, wrists, elbows, waist, shoulders, and neck, plus custom eye plug-ins and magnetic hand attachments, this finely crafted resin doll is highly pose-able and customisable to create your own dark fantasy display. Intoxicating and commanding, the Muse of Flesh and her elaborate ensemble will evoke the true essence of Flesh in your collection, and fill it with chaos, creativity and curiosity.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address.
