Immaculately illustrated by world-renowned artist, David Seeley, the Kier: Vision of Vengeance Fine Art Print captures the fallen Valkyrie of Retribution in all of her mystical splendour. 

Eyes glowing as the souls of undeath flow through her as etherea, Kier levitates her radiant claymore before her. Having waded through oceans of blood and with lives ended at her hands, the same red stain is sure to settle upon the blade in due time. 

“As an outcast creature of Heaven, I wanted to bring out Kier's determination and resolve to avenge the traumatic horror of her expulsion," explained Seeley. "A child of conflict and turmoil, she is the 'First Sword' of Death, and she is bent on destruction…. of both her enemies and her self.” 

“She is twisted beauty, strength, and pent-up anger," Seeley continued. "Framed by the levitating headstones of the Nook-n-Crans, she is entranced with the flow of souls feeding her magical sword, but the image is designed with a dual read in her eyes, to show her focus on that flow, or over her shoulder at us as we come upon her ritual. It was a challenge to get that dual read, but once you see it, you cannot unsee it.”

The shredded stumps of her ruined wings adorn her back as her mask, crafted from the skulls of fallen foes, shields her angular face against an otherworldly glow. As the fury and killing intent within Kier grow, so too do the red marking on her arms and legs shift.

Dave Seeley began his career as an award winning architect before switching over to the world of illustration. With a structured, methodical approach to his artwork he crafts pieces that display targeted, wondrous results. Having worked for every studio from Disney to Marvel and from Hasbro to Lucasfilm, his work has turned heads the world over.
