Cobi: World War II - Messerschmitt BF 109 G 1/48th Scale Construction Set (125 Pieces)
Go back to World War II and create a model of one of the most famous fighters in the history of aviation!
It consists of 125 precise elements that allow for a faithful reproduction of the legendary Bf 109 G - one of the most famous aircraft from World War II.
The Bf 109 G was one of the most important combat aircraft of World War II, used by the German Luftwaffe in many key battles, including the Battle of Britain. Its design, with a streamlined fuselage and a powerful DB 605 engine, made it an exceptionally agile and fast fighter. The Bf 109 G model in this version also has a technological curiosity - a 1,475 HP engine, which allowed it to reach speeds of over 600 km/h.
During World War II, the Bf 109 G underwent a number of modifications that improved its performance and adapted it to changing conditions. Initially, the fighter was armed with machine guns, but over time the modifications included adding more powerful weapons, including 20mm cannons. What's more, in the tropical versions, the cooling system was changed, adapting it to the hot climate of North Africa. Another modification was the use of different types of camouflage, adapted to the areas where the Bf 109 G was to operate, which made it even more difficult for enemies to notice.
Feel like a real aircraft designer! The Bf 109 G model is equipped with movable elements like rotating propeller and movable ailerons, which gives the plane an interactive character. Additionally the model is covered with the original camouflage used by the Luftwaffe. Thanks to this, the model looks like a real wartime combat machine, maintaining its unique aesthetic even after long-term play.
The set contains intuitive instructions that allow you to assemble the model step by step, regardless of your building experience. Every aviation enthusiast, regardless of age, will discover not only the joy of building, but also fascinating aspects of aviation history while assembling the model.
The Bf 109 G model is also a great collector's item that will enrich any collection of World War II aircraft. It’s a great way to learn about history in an engaging and educational way.
Don't wait, create your own collection of combat machines! The Bf 109 G model is a challenge that will not only allow you to discover your passion for building but will also become part of your historical collection.
