Cobi: World War II - BM-13 Katyusha (ZIS-6) Historical Collection 1/35 Scale Construction Set (440 Pieces)
The BM-13 Katyusha was a Soviet-made rocket launcher that saw its first combat in mid-1941. Though not known for pinpoint accuracy, its overwhelming firepower and concentrated barrages were devastating. The terrifying whine of launching rockets often sent enemy troops into a panic, earning it the nickname “Stalin’s Organ” from the Germans. The BM-13 variant was mounted on ZIS truck chassis and could launch M-13 rockets over distances exceeding 9 kilometres.
This 1:35 scale model from COBI captures the Katyusha in striking detail using 440 high-quality blocks. The build features rotating wheels with rubber tyres, an adjustable launcher, an opening cabin, and detachable rockets. The distinctive launcher shape is faithfully recreated with updated COBI elements.
The set includes two printed Soviet soldier figures (an officer and an enlisted crewman), both with detailed front and back printing. All graphic details are pad printed for durability and realism—no stickers here. Perfect for WWII enthusiasts and builders looking to add an iconic piece to their COBI collection.
