Cobi: Historical Collection - Lockheed P-38 Lightning (H) 1/32 Scale Construction Set (652 Pieces)

The Lockheed P-38H Lightning set returns to the offer from COBI in a scale of 1:32, in a new color and with more elements - a real treat for lovers of aviation history and block modeling!

The P-38H model in a new version from COBI is more than just a model - it is an invitation to a journey through time that takes us to the 1930s, when Clarence "Kelly" Johnson designed this unique fighter.

The P-38H was one of the key American aircraft during World War II, famous for its unusual design, including its double fuselage. Powered by twin Allison V-1710-111 engines with 1,425 hp each, it had an impressive power of 2,850 hp.

As one of the fastest fighters of World War II (671 km/h), the P-38H was also distinguished by its great maneuverability, speed and versatility, which made it irreplaceable on many fronts - both in Europe and the Pacific.

Equipped with 4 x 20mm cannons and 2 x .50 machine guns, as well as the ability to carry additional weapons, it was a powerful weapon in the hands of Allied pilots.

The new set, enriched with additional elements and a new color, allows for an even better representation of the characteristic silhouette of this legendary machine.

This number of blocks allows you to reproduce the small details of the plane, and the construction itself gives great satisfaction, offering an advanced construction process that will satisfy every modeling enthusiast.

The P-38H has moving parts, such as rotating propellers, folding landing gear, movable ailerons and an opening cockpit, in which you can place a well-designed pilot figure.

Intuitive step-by-step instructions make assembling the model a pleasure. The set is suitable for both beginners and experienced builders. A pilot figure with historical markings has been added to the set, which wonderfully complements the plane model.

By assembling the Lockheed P-38H model, you can learn about the fascinating history of this aircraft, which played a key role in World War II. It is a great opportunity to learn about war technology and the history of aviation.

The plane can be placed on a display stand with a commemorative plaque, which perfectly complements the model and makes it look great on every collector's shelf.
