Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1967, Chicago rose to fame with their distinct fusion of rock, jazz, and classical elements, anchored by a signature horn section that set them apart from their contemporaries. Often described as “a rock and roll band with horns,” the group includes original members Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, and Walter Parazaider (retired since 2017).

Chicago II is a double album that showcases the band’s bold ambition and musical range.
