This double LP sees Car Seat Headrest reigniting their indie rock firepower, expanding the emotional and sonic ambition that first made them cult favourites. Frontman Will Toledo, who began the project as a lo-fi solo act in Virginia, now leads a full band from Seattle: Ethan Ives, Seth Dalby, and Andrew Katz. Together, they’ve crafted an album that merges the introspective depth of their earlier work with the polish and energy of a band at full strength. 

With a mix of anthemic choruses, dramatic builds, and lyrical storytelling, The Scholars is Car Seat Headrest at their most dynamic. This edition includes a 28-page book, diving deeper into the world of Parnassus University and the ideas behind the music.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
