One of the most outrageous toy lines from the 80’s makes a grotesque return thanks to the folks at Tri-Action Toys! Originally created by Jim Henson Company alumni Tim Clarke, Maureen Trotto and Larry Mass in 1986, Boglins are radical hand puppets that come from a swampy bog that time forgot!
Bog-O-Bones, along with his partner Blobkin haunt the No Bog Lands in the valley of Doom. No other Boglin dares to set hand or tail there. So treacherous and evil are these two that they are known to steal small Boglins and carry them off to the Valley, a very inhospitable place filled with dread and woe. For this reason, every Halloween young Boglins stay indoors and leave carved pumpkins on their door steps to try and trick Blobkin and Bog-O-Bones into stealing their Jack-O-lanterns and leaving them alone. The Jack-O-lanterns are often filled with sugary candies that send Blobkin and Bog-O-Bones into fits of laughter which can be heard for miles around the Bog.
With movable glow in the dark eyes, and a glow in the dark body, the terrifying Bog-O-Bones will scare you silly. Packed in a rustic crate box, this 8” puppet is a fantastic scientific sample for any budding Bogologist!
