Released in 2023, Say I Won’t marks a new era for the Oxford, Mississippi rockers. It sees the band returning to their original label, Fat Possum, and delivering a more refined yet still relentless sound. With a full band lineup for the first time, these songs are layered, gritty, and rhythmically sharp. Tracks like “Say Your Prayers,” “Find It,” and “White Vine” bring swagger and distortion in equal measure, proving that Bass Drum Of Death haven’t lost an ounce of their edge.

Formed in 2008 by John Barrett, Bass Drum Of Death began as a solo project before evolving into a full-throttle force in American garage punk. Known for their lo-fi grit and punchy riffs, the band continues to tour internationally and release records that channel the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll through a modern, unfiltered lens.
