Together, the Coppolas created a genre-bending sonic experience—blending traditional orchestration with pioneering synthesizer work that pushed the boundaries of film music in the late 1970s. Their innovative approach sits alongside unforgettable licensed tracks that have become inseparable from the film itself, including Wagner’s thunderous “Ride of the Valkyries,” Flash Cadillac & the Continental Kids’ swaggering “Suzie Q,” and the haunting, apocalyptic strains of The Doors’ “The End.”

To mark the film’s 45th anniversary, this 2LP set features music from Apocalypse Now: Final Cut, Coppola’s definitive vision of the film, fully restored using Dolby Atmos and Meyer Sound’s Sensual Sound technology. A seminal soundtrack for one of cinema’s most haunting journeys.
