Restricted Shipping

Some Special Edition or Funko x Popcultcha exclusive items will have some regional restrictions placed upon them by our supplier that restrict us from shipping to certain countries. To find out which countries are excluded from purchasing a particular item, please check the More Information / Specifications tab on a product page. Anyone from countries or regions not listed in the Restricted Shipping line can purchase that item, and if there is no Restricted Shipping line then this item can be shipped worldwide.

 


Domestic Shipping

Regular eParcel 

We ship all Australian customers from our Head Office and Warehouse in Geelong, Victoria.

Please check our Order Processing Times for the estimated warehouse processing period before your order is shipped. Please note that business days are (Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm). If for some reason we are out of stock of an item on your order, we will ship you the balance of the order and generally put that item on back-order/pre-order for you (provided we are likely to receive more stock of the item) or we will refund you for that item (if we are not likely to get it back in). You will be notified about these issues (if they arise) via email or telephone by our customer support team.

We offer a flat rate of $9.99 shipping to any Australian address for all orders placed via the website, email or telephone if the total value of the order is under $100 (GST inclusive).

This flat rate $9.99 shipping service is via standard Australia Post eParcel.

If your order is over $100 (GST inclusive), then we ship your order complimentary or freight free. Again, this is all done through regular Australia Post eParcel.

If your item(s) is oversized, or weighs more than 20kg, we will need to use a courier service to deliver your order to you. This will not cost you any more than the $9.99 (for orders under $100) or the Free Shipping for orders over $100. However, we will need to contact you to arrange for someone to be home at the delivery address or alternatively, you may wish to have it delivered to your workplace or another address that is occupied between the hours of 9am to 5pm.=

Express Post

If you choose to pay additional shipping for our domestic Express Post option there is no Free Shipping on items over $100. Rather, your shipping cost will be calculated based on the weight of your consignment and the address it is being shipped to.

Similarly, an additional Express Post premium is added to the $9.99 flat rate shipping for all orders under $100, again based on the weight of your consignment and the address to which it is going.

To select Express Post for your order, you will need to add the items all to your cart, head to the checkout and add your shipping address (including post code), as the Express Post option will only show after these shipping details are provided.

If the order is placed before Noon (AEST), we will endeavour to have your order dispatched within 24 hours. If there is a backorder for goods temporarily out of stock, you will be notified via email or telephone.

What’s more is that most of us Popcultcha Peeps are collectors ourselves! What this means for you is that we pack your orders the way we like to receive our own orders, so we take the utmost care in ensuring your goodies get from our HQ to your home safely and securely.

Combined Shipments

From time to time Popcultcha will merge shipments to ensure that packages are moving smoothly through parcel services. With domestic freight delays, we are endeavoring to ensure that we have the least amount of packages in transit at any one time. All freight costs are based on parcel weight, as such all shipping costs are being utilized in these shipments. Combined shipments may consist of multiple newly placed in-stock orders, recently arrived pre-orders, or replacement items as necessary. We have found this to be the most practical way to ensure all items are arriving quickly and safely to customers both in Australia and around the world.

 

Statues, Busts, Hot Toys & High-End Collectables 

Where items arrive to us Factory Sealed, we send them out Factory Sealed.

We are not in the business of opening and playing with our toys and collectables, we bring them in and send them back out again! With Hot Toys we bubble wrap the individual Hot Toys cartons to give them a little extra padding in the courier/mail process. The only Hot Toys we generally don't bubble wrap are the bigger bulkier items that have carry handles in any event.

With Sideshow items such as Statues and Busts, we send them out exactly the way they come in, factory sealed and in their original cartons.

The only exception to these standards is where you, the customer, request us to open an item, inspect it for any potential shipping damage or defect and return it to the box exactly the way we found it. This is rare that we do this, as both Popcultcha and the customer would prefer to deal in factory sealed cartons.


Lost Items

Please be aware that Australia Post will not allow an investigation to begin on missing items until a period of three weeks (15 business days) has passed, after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier partner in the destination country.

International Shipping

Pack & Track International

This is the standard international service offered through Australia Post. This option is only available for orders weighing under 2kg. If you are having trouble selecting this option at the checkout it is likely your order is more than the allowed weight. This service is fully traceable on the Australia Post website so that you have the piece of mind to know where your parcel has been scanned and at what stage of the journey it is in. This service estimates delivery within 3 to 15 business days after our warehouse Processing Period. (This may vary for certain countries. Check Australia Post’s International Postal Guide for country specific information and regulations). 

Postage rates start at $12.50 AUD for this service and can be shipped but not limited to the following countries:

Express Courier International (ECI)

ECI is our fastest service, and is full trackable. The parcel is sent through Australian Post ECI system which estimates delivery in 3 - 10 business days  (after warehouse Processing Periods) in all zones. International orders weighing more than 2kg and/or from locations outside of the Pack & Track network must be sent via ECI.

This service is a premium express courier service and is fully traceable on the Australia Post website, so that you have the piece of mind to know where your parcel has been scanned and at what stage of the journey it is in. Also, the item moves far quicker through this system than it would via regular International Air Mail. Moreover, parcels require signature at the point of delivery abroad.

Due to the premium nature of this service, it is a little more expensive than Pack & Track International, so please use our cart shipping calculator to assist in your decision making as to shipping service.

Please note that where you have elected to pay for ECI shipping on a shopping cart that contains a mix of in stock and pre-order items, we will send your in stock items out via ECI shipping, however the balance of the pre-order items may be shipped out via Pack & Track International (or another available method of shipping)as and when each of them arrive into stock. Pre-Order Items

If you have placed an order on our website for in-stock and pre-order items, please be aware that if multiple pre-order items arrive at the same time, we reserve the right to ship the newly arrived pre-orders in the same parcel. The shipping of tertiary parcels containing pre-ordered items may be combined across other orders you have placed in order to keep your items together for safety and ease of delivery.

International Customs

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or fees payable that may arise, this is not part of the shipping and handling fee paid when you make your purchase. Please check with your local postal services for full details on thresholds. 

Please note: As a registered business we are unable to ship international orders as a ‘gift’ or a different figure to what you paid and all shipments must be declared as ‘merchandise’.


International Tracking

When parcels are shipped from our warehouse, an automated email is sent to customers to provide the tracking number for that shipment.

The tracking number first shows up on the Australia Post tracking website, and once the parcel is shipped from Australia to your location, the status "Processed Through Facility" will be seen in the tracking information.

Once the parcel reaches your country, it then is subject to be checked and cleared by the Customs Department in your region. This process can take 3-10 business days usually, depending on where you live.

After that has occurred, and your parcel has cleared Customs, the parcel is then handed over to the postal service in your region to complete delivery to your location.

Temporary Suspension to Select Countries

Due to ongoing freight and logistics issues sending parcels to specific countries (largely due to the effects COVID-19) has become difficult at times. Occasionally this will result in some countries having suspended shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot keep a running list of these countries as the landscape is changing so regularly.


Order Processing Times

In Stock Items

If you have purchased an item/s that are “in stock” and you have paid via an instant payment method i.e. PayPal or Credit Card via Braintree, we will endeavour to have your order invoiced, picked and packed in the next 2-3 business days.

  • Please note that business days are Monday till Friday - Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
  • Our parcels are picked up daily between Monday and Friday- Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
    During the Christmas Period our normal processing times can be affected due to the sheer volume of orders being placed during this time. We will of course try to keep this to a minimum, but please be aware during this extremely busy time delays in dispatching orders can occur. 
    During any promotional sales event, ie: Funko Convention Exclusive Launches or any Percentage Off sale that we run throughout the year does generate a major increase in the amount of orders to be processed. These sales events will affect our normal processing time frames but rest assured, we will do our very best to get your order out asap.
  • We endeavour to have all domestic express orders leave us within a 24 hour period. (Weekends/Public Holidays excluded)
  • All time frames quoted exclude all Australian (VIC) Public Holidays. 



If you have paid via a non-instant payment method i.e. eCheque or Electronic Bank Transfer, we will need to wait until your funds clear into our account before the order is picked and packed by our warehouse team.

  • This method may delay your order by up to an additional 1-3 business days. (In the future, to cut down on processing time, consider paying via PayPal or Credit Card for a quicker turnaround.)
  • Please note that if payment is not within 1-2 days of placing said order you run the risk the item/s being sold as this method does not reserve the stock until payment is received. 
  • If payment is not received within 7 days of placing your order Popcultcha reserves the right to cancel the order. (No extensions available.)  
  • Shipping Information will be emailed to you at the initial stage of processing and it will have all the relevant tracking details for your parcel once it leaves our warehouse. (Including tracking number and link to online sites where you can monitor it's progress) After your order is invoiced and tracking information is provided it is sent to our warehouse for picking and packing.
    As the tracking information is sent to you ahead of the picking and packing portion of processing we may need to contact you if any unforeseen issues arise with your order. This will be via email or phone (If provided).

Finalisation of your order. 

  • As soon as your order is picked and packed it will leave us with the respective transportation companies that day. At this stage you will receive shipping dispatch notification to show the order is in transit on it's way to you.

Pre Order Items

If your order consist solely of pre ordered items. 

  • If you have paid in full for a pre-order item/s, there is nothing further you need to do. We will send you your shipping information via email when the item is due for dispatch.
  • On some of our pre-order items, there is an option to pay a deposit only. If you have chosen this option, we will contact you closer to the arrival date of your item/s to arrange the balance payment. This will be in the form of a Paypal Invoice or an email.
  • If we do not hear back from you after this initial attempt we will follow up with a phone call. (If number supplied)
  • Please note that payment must be finalised before the item/s will be shipped. 

If payment is not finalised within a certain timeframe Popcultcha reserves the right to cancel the pre order and your deposit paid will be sent to you as a gift voucher as per our T&C's of sale. We will contact you via phone or email in such an occurrence.

For recently received pre-order products that have large quantities ordered, it takes some time to process, organise then physically pick and pack this large amount of stock. Please allow up to a week for the product to be shipped to you. 

In Stock and Pre Order Items 

Here at Popcultcha, we like our customers to get their goods as soon as possible. As such, as soon as we receive your payment in full for in stock items, we invoice them and ship them straight out to you in accordance with the above processing time frames.

For the pre-order portion, we will ship these items when each arrives into stock at our warehouse.

  • This means you only pay for shipping once on your order, but you may get shipped several times depending on release date of your pre ordered item/s. 
  • Please note that you may receive tracking information on pre ordered items ahead of time as we like to get the paperwork ready for when an item arrives. This saves us time and gets your goodies out to you as quickly as possible. (If you do receive tracking ahead of time please wait for the dispatch notice which will indicate your parcel has left us and is on route) 
  • Please note that if a large amount of pre ordered items all arrive at the same time it may place a slight delay on our processing times, but rest assured we will endeavour to get them out asap.
