"Columbia Lane: The Last Sessions” is an album released by Australian country music singer Slim Dusty, who was recording the album when he died on 19 September 2003. Slim Dusty was an Australian country music singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer. Australia’s King of Country, Slim Dusty, has been the face of an evolving Australian country music scene for its entire history – close to 70 years. Born David Gordon Kirkpatrick in 1927, at Nulla Nulla Creek near Kempsey he decided to rename himself 'Slim Dusty' at age 11.
“Columbia Lane: The Last Sessions” is one of Slim's best bodies of work, containing many of his most popular songs such as “Blue Hills In The Distance,” “Answer To Billy,” and “Get Along.” This album offers an experience like no other as you get to listen to some of the most iconic Australian country music ever.
