"True Magic,” the latest album from Salute, embraces a collaborative approach, created during a retreat in the countryside with fellow musicians. Departing from the solo focus typical in dance music, salute brought a team together to develop ideas, resulting in a record rich with organic and diverse contributions.
Inspired by old Japanese car adverts, Salute crafted the album around the concept of driving a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) car in a race called TRUE MAGIC. This unique aesthetic, influenced by hours of YouTube archive exploration, brings a nostalgic yet fresh auditory experience to the album.
