Yo listen up, here’s a story, about a little Pop! who lives in the blue world, and all day and all night and everything he sees is just blue, like him, inside and outs… well, you get the picture. Hopefully that blatant ‘90s reference wasn’t lost on all you young Pop! collectors, however if it was, don’t feel blue, since Funko have just announced their exciting wave of Onward Pop! Vinyl Figures!
Disney Pixar’s new film Onward is set in a fantastical world where the populace once had magic, and follows the story of two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, who receive a wizard’s staff as a pre-arranged gift from their father, who died before Ian was born and when Barley was too young to clearly remember him. The staff came with a spell that will bring him back for only 24 hours, so his sons can meet him. Prompted by Barley, Ian uses the spell, only to end up bringing back just his father's legs. This causes the brothers to go on a quest for a way to bring back the rest of their father before the time is up.
This wave features a range of characters from the film including the two brothers themselves, Ian and Barley, their father Wilden (well, half of him) wearing his not-so-inconspicuous disguise, as well as Corey the Manticore, restaurant owner who Ian and Barley go to for help on their quest.
