London After Midnight - Lon Chaney Sr Deluxe 1/6 Scale Diorama Statue
London After Midnight was a 1927 silent mystery film distributed by MGM. The real mystery about this film however is how to go about finding it - the last known copy having been destroyed in the 1967 MGM Vault fire. One of the most sought after lost films, chances are eyes may never view this film again.
Based on the short story The Hypnotist by Tod Browning, London After Midnight tells the tale of the tragic incident at the Balfour estate. It has been five years since the terrible incident, and the home has stood empty ever since that tragic day. Now, strange inhabitants have been seen creeping around the property at night. What ill fate will befall those who dare to be caught out after midnight?
Lon Chaney Sr’s performance as the menacing Man in the Beaver Hat has been immortalised as this new statue from Quarantine Studio. In 1/6 Scale, this deluxe piece features an incredible likeness of Lon Chaney set upon a detailed wall and gate environment base. Cast in high quality polystone resin and finished in a black and white paint job, this statue is the ultimate tribute to Chaney’s performance, and quite possibly the only version of it you will be able to see.
