Keith Richards - Talk Is Cheap 30th Anniversary LP Vinyl Record (Red Coloured Vinyl)

Talk Is Cheap is the debut solo album by English musician, singer-songwriter Keith Richards. It was originally released on October 3, 1988 and re-realised as a 30th Anniversary edition having been remastered from the original tapes by Richards' collaborator, Steve Jordan.   

On a break from his band at the time, the Rolling Stones guitarist, vocalist and songwriter created a rock n’ roll album full of feature artists such as Sarah Dash, Bootsy Collins, Maceo Parker, the Memphis Horns, Patti Sciafia and Mick Taylor.

There is an elemental swagger and an obvious swing to this album, feeling as though Richard’s wrote it feeling free of his confines and in a place of full enjoyment once again. There were ongoing frustrations at the time with Stones  frontman Mick Jagger and Richard’s pours every ounce of this feud into a bright, fresh sound and allowing him to redirect his energy into something truly worthwhile.

It is a masterclass of simple, well written and performed tracks and a real tribute as a debut solo album. Talk Is Cheap proves how talented and professional Richards is as an artist, not to mention, just plain cool.
