Ninja Theory and Laced Records have brought together an essential selection of music from two of gaming's most emotionally powerful titles. Sequenced by composer and audio director David García Díaz, this double LP draws from the BAFTA-winning Hellblade series, where every musical choice is tied directly to the inner world of Celtic warrior Senua.

The first game's score was built from a striking combination of orchestral strings, pagan folk instruments, fractured guitars, and driving percussion. Collaborations with electro-industrial artist Andy LaPlegua and Passarella Death Squad give the music a texture that feels simultaneously ancient and visceral. The second game pushes into even darker sonic territory, with recording sessions held in Icelandic ice caverns and on the slopes of Mount Etna in Italy. Contributions from RashDash and deep throat-singing from STFUR ground the score in raw, spiritual intensity.

The Hellblade series was developed by Ninja Theory, a Cambridge-based studio celebrated for its psychologically driven storytelling and immersive sound design. The franchise has earned widespread critical recognition for its unflinching portrayal of psychosis and mythological trauma.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address.
