Pressed on vinyl is a deluxe and limited reissue of Fear's "The Record". Released in celebration of Record Store Day 2021, the recording comes with a bonus 7" Christmas 45rpm vinyl record.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Fear as an American punk rock band formed in 1977. Credited for helping shape the sound of Californian hardcore punk, they gained population after an infamous 1981 performance on Saturday Night Live. For the first time since 1982, "The Record" has been pressed as a reissue of their debut studio album, regarded as their best album, receiving a rating of 4.5 out of 5 by Mark Deming from AllMusic. The album includes all tracks previously released, as well as a cardboard art-stencil of the band logo from the cover art.
Also included is a bonus 7" Christmas "Tis the season to give, good cheer and luck..." 45rpm single pressed on transparent red vinyl that comes in a repro of the original picture sleeve.
Pressed on 140g Clear and White Mixed Vinyl.
