Can I use my American Express/Diners Club Card to purchase off Popcultcha?
Unfortunantly we cannot accept payments made by American Express/Diners club at this time. I don't own a credit card, can I still order on Popcultcha? For Australian customers who do not own or wish to pay via Credit Card the following alternate payment options are available:
(a) Direct deposit into our nominated bank account (subject to clearance);
(b) Australia Post Money Order sent to our address
(c) Personal or Business cheque sent to our address (subject to clearance); or
For International customers who do not own or wish to pay via a Credit Card the following alternate payment options are available:
I can't find what I am looking for?
Here at Popcultcha we update our store regularly but we are not perfect! There may be an error on the website or you may have difficulty in finding a particular product which you know we have in our range. Similarly, you may be looking for that special something and were wondering if we can source it through our suppliers. In any event, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org detailing exactly what you are looking for and we will get back to you as soon as possible to point you in the right direction or to let you know whether we have the item in stock.
What is a Preorder?
A Preorder is an item that has not yet come into stock, but you can pre-purchase it to secure your piece. Pre-orders under $300 are generally paid up front 100% and are then shipped out to you as soon as they arrive without you having to do anything further.
Items over $300 generally have the option to either pay in full as above, or pay a $100 deposit now to secure the item and then the balance upon arrival of the item into our warehouse, or in instalments leading up to arrival. This can be arranged with one of our staff.
So the deposit, whether it be $100 or in full, secures your particular piece ie. reserves it, but it is non-refundable. If you change your mind or wish to cancel, you can apply this deposit against another product or simply maintain a store credit until you find another item that you want.
Preorders are particually important for limited release items, as sometimes we may presell out of an item, so preordering will be the only was to ensure you can buy that piece.
You can tell if an items is a preorder item by looking on the product page. We have implemented what we like to call the traffic light system. If the green "In stock" Light is showing, then the item is in stock. If the orange "Pre Order" Light is showing, then you know this is a Preorder item. When the orange "Pre Order" light is on, a note with the ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) is also shown.
What is a Preorder ETA?
What the hell is a pre-order ETA? Well.... A pre-order product is one which has either yet to be released to the public (ie. Is still being manufactured and transported to the Popcultcha Warehouse) or is simply a product that was in stock but has now temporarily sold out and we are awaiting it to arrive back into stock.
It follows then that a Pre-Order ETA is the time at which we expect a pre-order product to arrive into our Popcultcha Warehouse. Now, this Pre-Order ETA is either supplied to us by the manufacturer of the product or is amended as and when we receive updated shipping advice. Being a retailer in the Collectables industry, quite often these ETA's can be delayed... sometimes significantly. Please know that most often this is beyond our control and is simply the nature of the collectables industry. As soon as we get information about when a product is about to ship or that it has in fact been delayed, we will update the Pre-Order ETA on our website for that particular product. We wish we had a way of contacting all our customers who have those products on pre-order when an ETA changes but unfortunately we do not. So we thank you in advance for your patience and can only advise you to keep checking back on our website at your pre-order products.
