Every year, a horde of grasshoppers extort food from a colony of ants. One day, the ants' annual offering is inadvertently destroyed and the grasshoppers demand twice as much as compensation. Desperate to save his colony from oppression, an ant named Flik heads to the big city and seeks out a group of “warrior” bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe.
Flying high in the sky of this backpack are Rosie, Flik, Tuck and Roll atop Dim’s back, with Francis carrying Slim alongside, while Manny and his wife Gypsy take the lead ahead.
