Can we contact Popcultcha via telephone?
Our telephone operators run the Popcultcha website, therefore all information is contained right here on the website. However, should there be an omission from the website or you cannot resolve your query through electronic communication, please feel free to contact us on +61 3 5229 1992. Why have we not heard of Popcultcha and where do you advertise?
Popcultcha is the new brainchild of retail store Card Mania in Geelong, Australia. Previously we have operated two separate websites www.cardmania.com.au and www.figuremania.com.au but we felt that our service levels on these sites needed a complete overhaul. Popcultcha became operational in January 2008 and it will take time for us to convey this information to the marketplace. We will be embarking upon an advertising campaign so you and your friends should see us in both on-line and print adverts. We do ask that if you are satisfied with your on-line shopping experience at Popcultcha that you let your friends and family know. Word of mouth is by far the best advertising a business can have! How often is Popcultcha updated because www.cardmania.com.au and www.figuremania.com.au were hardly ever updated?!!!
Popcultcha is updated as often as is required. We receive new products every week which are loaded onto the website and we also sell out of many products from time to time. We make the commitment to our customers that as soon as we become aware of a "sold out" item that we will immediately update the website to avoid customer disappointment. Similarly, we will make available new products on-line as soon as they are ready for shipment at our premises. We have a new team of staff members that are dedicated to the Popcultcha website and who will go out of their way to ensure your shopping experience at Popcultcha is an efficient and pleasurable one. How do I join up for the montly newsletter?
When you initially register as a user of Popcultcha there is an option (via a tick box) to elect to receive our monthly newsletter. If you have already registered as a user, but now want to receive our monthly newsletter, please go to the "My Account" section and tick the box to receive our monthly newsletter. What are your "specials" and how will I know when Popcultcha is having a "sale"?
All products available for sale on Popcultcha are marked at Recommended Retail Price (RRP) or at a competitive price that a particular product is available elsewhere. Occasionally, in our monthly newsletter, we will have "specials" on items that we may be overstocked or may be promoted for some other reason. This will be a great way for die-hard collectors or customers purchasing gifts to get their hands on some quality products at a cheap price! From time to time, Popcultcha may have "sales" or "clearance sales" to move some obsolete stock, damaged packaging stock or themed stock in relation to a promotion. We will notify all registered members of our upcoming sales with sufficient time for you guys to save your dollars to pick up those missing pieces in your collection! We may also advertise a sale via print and on-line mediums. Tell me more about the "Damaged Packaging" section and just how "Damaged" are these items? Our damaged packaging section gives you the consumer a chance to pick up items that are in perfectly good condition but for a dent or scratch on the packaging. It is an ideal way for collectors or customers who display their purchases out of their packaging to pick up items at a discount to their RRP but with no difference to the actual item in the packaging. We have found that a large percentage of our customers take their action figures out of their packaging so this section of Popcultcha is a very popular place to pick up bargains. We stress the point that the actual figures themselves are not damaged in any way. How can I track the status of my order?
Once you have registered on Popcultcha, simply log into the website using your "username" and "password". After successfully logging in, you will see on the left-hand taskbar an option "Track my previous orders". Clicking on this button will bring up your previous orders and their status which will be either: (a) order received by Popcultcha; (b) order processed by Popcultcha or (c) order despatched by Popcultcha. If your order has not arrived at your nominated delivery address within the service standard (see Shipping) please contact us at info@popcultcha.com and we will investigate the issue with our freight provider. If you wish to change or alter your order which is either in the "received" or "processed" status but has yet to despatch, please click on the link "change my order" to alter the order and we will ensure your addition or subtraction to the order is taken into account. I don't own a credit card, can I still order on Popcultcha? For Australian customers who do not own or wish to pay via Credit Card the following alternate payment options are available: - (a) Direct deposit into our nominated bank account (subject to clearance);
- (b) Australia Post Money Order sent to our address; or
- (c) Personal or Business cheque sent to our address (subject to clearance).
For International customers who do not own or wish to pay via a Credit Card the following alternate payment options are available: - (a) International Money Transfers in $AUD directly deposited into our nominated bank account: or
- (b) Bank Drafts in $AUD in favour of our nominated bank account.
Please note that any customer who pays via any of the above alternate methods will only have their goods dispatched to them after the money has been received by Popcultcha and funds cleared by our bank. We will advise you immediately once your funds have been received and cleared to us so that your order can be dispatched right there and then. These alternate methods of payment can be clicked on during the ordering process within the Popcultcha website. My order has been declined? Why has this occurred? After you have proceeded through the checkout, if you receive a message that your order has been declined, this means that our bank has rejected your credit card payment. This may be for a number of reasons, including: - (a) Insufficient credit available:
- (b) Your credit card has been cancelled and unable to be processed;
- (c) Incorrect expiry date; or
- (d) Incorrect 3 digit security number on the back of your card.
If your payment has been declined, we will contact you as soon as is practicable to determine the error and to instruct you on how to rectify the matter. I can't find what I am looking for? Here at Popcultcha we update our store regularly but we are not perfect! There may be an error on the website or you may have difficulty in finding a particular product which you know we have in our range. Similarly, you may be looking for that special something and were wondering if we can source it through our suppliers. In any event, please send us an email at info@popcultcha.com detailing exactly what you are looking for and we will get back to you as soon as possible to point you in the right direction or to let you know whether we have the item in stock. Simply log into Popcultcha as you normally would using your "username" and "password". After successfully logging in, you will see on the left-hand taskbar an option "Change my details". Clicking on this button will bring up the details we previously held for you and give you the option to change details accordingly. Please keep us up to date if your details change. We would hate for you to miss out on a bargain during one of our sales or promotions! I can't find an answer to my question on your F.A.Q?
